Hand Written Recipe
Pudina Charu
Fresh mint leaves (pudina) – few
Garlic - 2 flakes
Cumin seeds - 11/2 tsp
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Red chili – 1
Tamarind- medium lemon size
Salt - to taste
Asafoetida - a little
Mustard seeds
Sambhar powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil
Heat oil in a pan , crackle mustard seeds and keep it aside
Soak tamarind along with salt in water and extract juice from it.
Add a little sambhar powder and bring it to boil
Grind Fresh mint leaves ,garlic ,cumin ,pepper and red chilies into a coarse powder and add it to the above
Allow it to boil once more
Remove from flame, add asafetida , fried mustard seeds.
